Valle del Cauca: The New Epicenter of Multinational Growth in Latin America

Press releases and Bulletins

The Forbes Colombia Forum in Valle del Cauca 2026 became a landmark platform for reaffirming multinational confidence in the region and signaling long-term commitment to growing from this strategic territory. Against a challenging global backdrop, business leaders gathered at the forum converged on a shared conviction: Valle del Cauca offers conditions that are unique in Latin America for investing, innovating, and scaling world-class operations.

Endress+Hauser Anchors Regional Expansion in Cali

One of the forum's standout cases was Endress+Hauser, the prestigious Swiss industrial instrumentation leader with over 70 years of global expertise. In February 2024, the company broke ground on its new Colombian headquarters, strategically located on the Cali–Yumbo corridor — a decision driven by proximity to key clients across the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, oil and gas, and water treatment sectors. The facility will house an ONAC-accredited calibration laboratory, positioning it as the company's flagship operation in Colombia and equipping it with state-of-the-art technology.

Ingredion Doubles Down on Valle del Cauca

Ingredion, the U.S.-based multinational with over 90 years of presence in Colombia and a global leadership position in ingredient production and distribution, reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the region at the forum. Recently recognized as one of the world's most ethical companies, Ingredion has been a cornerstone of the regional agroindustry and continues to advance expansion plans. Its Valle del Cauca operations leverage direct connectivity with Colombian agricultural supply chains, a highly skilled and specialized local talent base, and the strategic logistics advantage offered by the Port of Buenaventura for international trade.

A Shared Vision: Sustainability, Talent, and Long-Term Growth

Both companies aligned on a forward-looking vision defined by sustainability and investment in human capital — values that guide their diversification strategies and their commitment to serving multiple industries. Forum participants also highlighted the pivotal role of Invest Pacific in bridging multinational operations with the region's productive and institutional ecosystem, enhancing competitiveness and quality of life for both companies and their workforce.

The message from these multinationals was unambiguous: Valle del Cauca has everything it takes to become far more than it already is. With world-class talent, robust infrastructure, a dynamic market, and a consolidated export-oriented economy, the region stands out as a development pole that will continue attracting investment and generating opportunities for Colombia and the world.
