“We are very pleased to have you here at Valle University to keep on building networks between the public and private. By working together, we can promote not only the city’s youth, but also all our community in Cali and the region. Hence, we must make the most out of these offers, for bilingual individuals in English, and also for those specialized in areas such as data engineering, contact centers, and software development companies, among others”, noted Liliana Arias, Academic Vice-Rector.
Similarly, the Economic Development Secretary of Cali, Liliana Sierra, stated that: “Within our city’s investment fostering project we are working with such companies that have settled in town, to offer bilingual employment. This time the ‘Cali Talent Expo’ fair was held for bilingual people seeking to access job openings in BPO, call centers, KPO, and technological service operations”.
“As Agency our task is to bring new companies from various sectors to town, namely services and technology operations. There are several opportunities for human talent, and the key to access to them is English fluency”, reported Manolo Constain, Investment Manager for Invest Pacific.
Invest Pacific fosters and partners with these kinds of initiatives to promote bilingualism for employability, thanks to the increasing interest of multinational companies to hire local human talent to establish their operations in our city/region.
